You are making efforts for teaching your child to write but it all seems to be going down the drain. While teaching kids to write, teachers and parents must remember one very essential rule that you have to get them interested in the alphabets or letters.

If you listen to songs, you can get a lot: your child can get accustomed to the rhythm, the grammatical structures can stuck in their head, they can learn new vocabulary. Music can create an athmosphere (it’s suitable for soothing energetic kids, or the other way round, to cheer up tired or shy ones). It’s suitable for making routines fun (for example washing hands belongs to this category in our house). Music can motivate, and it can make learning fun and enjoyable.

English is considered to be the dominant language of our modern world (lingua franca). It’s in the top 10 most widely spoken languages of the world, and the most important as a second language. Here in Europe (including my country, Hungary), English is the most common second language children learn at school.

The International Primary Curriculum is an idea that began in Britain eight years ago. Today this curriculum is taught in more than one thousand primary schools in fifty-eight countries, including the United States.
